Great Istanbul Guide - Berat was a fantastic guide. He led us on a tour that took in all the main sights without exhausting us.

Berat’s English was great and... read more he is very knowledgeable. He explained as much about today’s Turkish culture as the history. That is what we wanted. But he knows the history as well!! He also found some quieter places for us to cool off and take a break from the heat.

Most importantly he was fun and flexible to our needs. We needed breakfast (kids were up late!) and Berat fixed it. We needed a camera shop and Berat fixed it. We wanted to know how to use the ferries to get to/from Asia and Berat fixed it - even helping us buy the tickets.

Berat the knowledge of Istanbul - Berat is a fantastic person and very knowledgeable about Istanbul.

He has a great sense of humour too and very happy

Awesome tour of Topkapi Palace- highly recommended!  - I had a wonderful experience touring the Topkapi Palace with Berat as my guide! He was very generous with his time and knowledge and I got to see everything and... read more even more than I had hoped to. Berat explained the historical context and timelines for each section of this massive and fascinating site. We even took time for a delicious lunch of authentic Turkish cuisine.
